Evening hike through the Zazamalala forest

In the shimmering light, guided by Erica or Tahiry, equipped with flashlights, infrared binoculars and mosquito repellents, visitors enter the forest. And with a bit of luck, they’ll be spoiled with plenty encounters, eating or mating snakes, hedgehog-resembling tenrecs, grotesque insects, geckos rushing along tree trunks, croaking frogs, sleeping chameleons, and … nocturnal lemurs. There are 6 different nocturnal lemurs at Zazamalala: western fork-crowned dwarf lemur ; Giant mouse lemur ; Red-tailed sportive lemur ; Fat-tailed dwarf lemur ; Grey mouse lemur ; Grey-red mouse lemur.
Afterwards, exquisite cocktails or hot Ristretto are served at the campfire. Zazamalala is a fantastic wildlife experience!
