Songbirds and Zazamalala windows

Some new window panes in our house are mirrors from the outside. We did not think of this when buying these, but some songbirds are attracted to them. Particularly the male Madagascar red fody (Faudia madagascariensis). Several times a day, a male Red fody approaches the window and for minutes at a time, behaves kind of crazy and dances in front of his mirror image. Often, he picks the glass and obviously considers it to be a intruder in his territory. Time will tell whether this really poses a problem for our bird population. For the time being, we postponed changing our other windows.
